Orson's Japanese cousin?Or are you going to be in Tokyo on the 26th of this month? Because if you are, then you should totally think about going along to this: the KORG DS-10 EXPO 2008.

Hosted by developer AQ Interactive at club axxcis in Tokyo's excruciatingly trendy (but still quite lovely) Shibuya ward, the KORG DS-10 EXPO 2008 will feature live DS-10 performances, collaborative song-making, and alcohol. Also, copies of the program will be on sale at the venue, so you can't use that as an excuse not to attend.

Tickets can be pre-ordered right now for a very reasonable 1800 yen, and will also be available at the door for 2000. Incidentally, if any of you guys do end up going, lemme know and maybe we can sort something out coverage-wise. (I'd ask Patrick to go, but I'm pretty sure he's going to be out of the country on that date.)

Oh, and in case you missed it, here's my review of the DS-10 from a couple months ago. Short version: it's cool, but impractical. Still worth picking up though, especially if you're looking for a cheap beginner's synth.

(Thanks to the always-excellent Original Sound Version for the heads-up.)

EXPERT KNOB TWIDDLERSType your name and create your own glitter! Go on - DO IT. If you don't, everybody will know, and you'll be shunned and reviled, and when the prom comes, no boys will dance with you, and then some prick will dump pig's blood on your head, and then ALL KINDS OF SHIT will go down. So, for god's sake, just type your name into the goddamn box and save everyone a bunch of trouble, you selfish bitch. Christ.

Done? Okay, good. Now read this review of the new DS music thingy, and then get ready for bed. That's a good girl.
