Well, golly! We just had ourselves a Shindig!

For those of you who’ve just tuned in: Eegra is a website about videogames. Hello! Earlier this year, we announced an independent game-making competition – the First Annual Game Makin’ Shindig – because we like that sort of thing. There are cash prizes and everything!

The Shindig ran for three months, and it had a theme: COLOUR. At the end of those three months, we’d received nine colour-themed entries. We have now judged those entries, and it is time to announce the winners! It is also time to make all the entries available for download. It is an exciting time.

Because nine is not an overwhelming number of entries, Dan and Patrick have been able to write brief critiques of every single game, not just the winners. We hope you find them useful, game creators and downloaders. So – we’ll announce the non-winners first, and then move on to the third, second and first prize winners.

Without further ado, our wonderful but not-quite-wonderful enough non-winners!
