GOONIES II

I'm sure you all know Eskimo, but did you know that he began his career in a completely stark and empty room in the NES adventure, Goonies II?

Of course, this is more familiar, right? Someone at Square must have seen his potential. He picks up his career again as one of the lovable companions of Whatsersally Shortpants in that Final Fantasy game that you all know.
BIBLE ADVENTURES

Not a single one of us grew up without spending a sleepless night or two playing Bible Adventures! I don't even need to tell you, but this smash hit was where Jibbo the spider made his debut, cheekily getting in the way of the baby Jebus on his paper round. Oh, that naughty Jibbo!

There! That's what you get, Jibbo, you blasphemous little bastard!
He sure did feel the wrath of God in Ninja Gaiden 2. I don't think he minds though – he also felt the wrath... of popularity!
ZELDA: LINK'S AWAKENING

And what would the Game Boy classic, Zelda: Link's Awakening be without good old Mr. Moppy providing us with advice, rare items and the occasional "knock knock" joke! How would we even get out of bed in the morning without knowing he was there to guide us on our way to slaughter the evil Wind Fish? Mr. Moppy may never have been a star, but he always had a special place in our hearts nevertheless.
What ever happened to that rolly polly old worm?

Why, look at that! Some of you, if you've been especially diligent with your exercise routines, may have been lucky enough to catch a glimpse of Mr. Moppy running around the track in Nintendo's Wii Fit game. Not only is he losing a few pounds, but he's been spruced up with colour and an extra dimension. Lookin' good there, Mr. Moppy! And as his well-known catch-phrase goes, "To the stars, vivadee-voo!"
So there you have it. And there are hundreds more examples like these! If you happen to know of any, get some screenshots and send 'em in. If we get enough, we'll post 'em up! Maybe! Page << 1 2 3 |
