You are thirsty and want to open a bottle of softdrink. How do you do it?

Get some string, tie one end to the lid, the other end to a cat, and then throw the cat off a balcony.
Take the bottle to a hardware store and use the paint mixer to shake it until the lid pops off from the pressure.
Go back in time and convince Hitler to build an enormous muderbot. Ask the bot to use its missiles on the bottle.
Uh ... I twist the lid open? What the fuck is wrong with you?

Feature: Forgotten Characters Get a Second Chance

Does Eegra *ever* shut about Skip?? NOPE.

For decades now, modern games have been reaching back into the past and reusing old, forgotten characters. Those characters that never got the starring roles. Those that had to make do with dressing rooms no larger than broom closets. Caviar on their plates? No sir. Just cafeteria slop on a tray, eaten with a plastic spork. That girl with the one line of semi-useful dialogue in that one RPG – did you even stop to wonder what her name was? What music was she interested in? What made her smile? No, you never did. Nobody did.

Nobody, that is, except a few visionary game designers – brave men and women who were not afraid to look gaming history in the face and say, "They are important. They are somebody. I will make them somebody and I will do it today!"

Stay a while, and let me show you just a few examples of game characters who have been resurrected for a second shot at the spotlight. Some may surprise you!
