Spread the Happiness by JimmyRay

No. No, no, no.

If you can’t draw Chibi-Robo, you’re not allowed to just change him. Why is he posing like a superhero, sticking his chest out? Why, for that matter, does he have a chest? And fingers?

Why did you slap a big, ugly watermark across his legs (which are the wrong shape by the way)? Who in the world would want to steal credit for this piece of shit?

The happiness stops here, JimmyRay.

enter: Chibi-Robo by VerusMayaII

I’m including this one just because I remember doing this exact same perspective assignment in high school art class.

This girl also did a Chibi-Robo screen print that you might like to see. (I remember doing screen printing as well.)

(I went to high school, you guys!)

High Altitude by LaSpliten

Here’s LaSpliten again. She’s done a whole series of Chibi-Robo pieces like this. I chose this one because it’s composed the nicest, plus I really like the texture of those clouds. As for Chibi-Robo himself, well, his head’s a little wonky (round things are hard to draw), but I think LaSpliten captures the spirit of Chibi-Robo in this depiction.

So, yeah. That’s neato.

As always, we conclude with a terribly, terribly serious poem.

Angels Cry Blood by PrinceYunYun

A single red tear of blood glistens in the moonlite.
As it falls down the ghostly white cheek.
Falling into a small red dot seemingly to be nothing.
Nothing but a small blemish on the perfect white.
Tonight is the night angels cry blood.
Tonight is the night the sky will bleed black.
The black will turn the frozen white into darkness.
Tonight is the night we lament.
We lament for what is lost.
As angels cry blood and stars fall from the sky.
The sky will bleed black tonight.

I want to hold a competition of some kind, just so PrinceYunYun can win it.
