Ohhhhh, I’m not sure how I feel about this. It looks like Chibi-Robo isn’t sure how he feels, either. You can imagine he’s facing a mirror in this picture. “Do I look cute,” he is thinking, “or is this demeaning? But... but how can it be demeaning – I don’t have a gender, do I?” And then he is thinking, “But even if I did have a gender, why should it matter, so long as I look cute? It’s not fair that society pressures people into dressing a certain way.” And then he is thinking, “Do I look cute, though? Does that bow go with this skirt?”

Poor, puzzled Chibi-Robo. So much thinking to do, in your li’l robot brain.

As for me, I’m thinking, “Is that supposed to be a specific sailor senshi’s outfit, or just a generic one? Because Sailor Moon is the only one with a skirt like that, but the colours are all wrong.” Which is frankly embarrassing and maybe I should have kept it to myself.

Chibi Robo Plushie Second Try by LaSpliten

Fan-made plush toys are always fun to see, and this is a decent attempt at Chibi-Robo. However, it does evoke Frankenstein’s monster a bit, with that stitch running across its giant forehead.

This LaSpliten person is responsible for about ten thirds of all the Chibi-Robo pictures on deviantART, so she gets to appear in this article twice! That’s the rule!

Why bother?

I mean, clearly this is terrible. So there’s that. But look at this picture for more than a couple of seconds and you’ll realise it’s not just terrible – it’s deeply, depressingly terrible.

Clearly Chibi-Robo is the inspiration for this picture. And yet, he is the one thing in the picture that the ‘artist’ didn’t draw. If you like it so much, Midnas, why copy-paste that Chibi-Robo image into your shitty shit? Why not just look at it?

And that... thing on the left. What is that supposed to be? Do you even know? And that expression on its face – what the fuck is that? You don’t know, do you. Well I do, and I’ll tell you. That expression is anime. “I am feeling very anime today,” the grey thing is saying. “Please like me.”

And, come on -- “ACADMEDY”?

If you’re not going to put in any effort, just do nothing.
