Enlivened by his catnap,
Around the room he raced:
Chasing the invisible,
And by them being chased.

I have a cat who has no tail,
Which oughtn't give you pause,
But neither has he arms or legs --
Just pairs of floating paws.

One is blue and one is green;
They mew and hiss and scratch and clean.
One is green and one is blue;
They eat and sleep and wee and poo.

My house is covered in her fur;
Against my leg, she purrs.
Is she invading my space,
Or am I invading hers?
