I really enjoyed this and found it all very, very entertaining. You both sound great on the podcast too -- no annoying voices and excellent delivery, so that's definitely a plus!

I liked Babblefish a lot and I hope it becomes a regular segment. The music was also great.

It would have been nice if the podcast was a bit tighter, though. It was all a bit "content, content, content, 'Oops, what was I meant to be talking about? Ah yes, that's right, things!'" I assume a bit more planning will make that happen? Also, two hours is a bit long. Mind you, it was all very good, but I found that I had to listen to it in segments because I didn't have a 2 hour block to just sit down and listen to the whole thing.

I dunno, I think two hours is a good length. I like a lot of content, and plus, I usually listen to podcasts when I'm on trains and the like, and a forty-five minute podcast is not enough to get my through the day.

This is incredible. This is the only podcast I have ever listened to all the way through.

All the subtle wordplay jokes I AM IN HEAVEN

I think the reason Patrick sounds so loud is because he's using a cheaper mic. That or Dan's recording it all and they're doing this across internet. Or maybe he's just too fucking loud.

I found the podcast to be really boring. I'm not the kind of guy who likes listening to dialogue though. For what it's worth the site is, from what I observe, is getting more traffic. Inevitably there will be an onslaught of folk asking for "more updates". A podcast isn't a terribly difficult thing to do, in comparison to say, a feature, and it's great way to add content without trying too hard, so it's worth doing, even if I found it dull. So yes Dan and Patrick, you have my permission to continue making podcasts.

Eegratainment, that is my suggestion for a name. I don't like adding pod to the end of things, but fucking EegratainmentPod if you'd like.

All of the above.

That's fair enough. I'm kind of the same, to be honest.

ALSO, EVERYBODY: I've updated the first post. Please look at it!

Content: I really, really like the music segments and the Babble Fish thing. Also, for interviews, I would want to see Dessgeega, maybe? You guys seem to have a bit of a thing, so it would be interesting to see/hear her and Patrick discussing things.

Length: I think an hour and a half is fine.

Technical Feedback: Not really, but Patrick microphone is a leetle more loud then it needs to be.

I quite like that.

Everybody: Thanks for the great feedback so far; it's all encouraging and helpful. Seems like most people enjoyed the podcast, but for different reasons. I guess that's good! Although it makes me worry we can't change anything without annoying someone. Oh well.

Dan and me would like the podcast to be tighter and shorter, with more well-defined 'segments', and a little pre-prepared material, but not too much because we like how easy it is just to chat, and people seem to like hearing us chat, so that works out. Anyway -- does that sound good? TELL US IF WE'RE ABOUT TO MAKE A HORRENDOUS MISTAKE.

Also what the hell, 'deep' is the last word I would think of to describe my voice. You guys!
