If that isn't confirmation I don't know what is. It sounds really exciting though, didn't

And if he IS making a remake or something, didn't he ALSO say that MGS4 would be a PS3-only game?

Did anyone seriously believe that MGS4 wouldn't end up on 360? Kojima can talk big about exclusivity and brand loyalty and whatever else, but Konami owns the rights to MGS, and will naturally do whatever it takes to make the franchise as profitable as possible.

These days, the only games that are guaranteed platform exclusives are first party. See: Mario, Zelda, Metroid etc.

Are you the first one to come up with that interpretation? I keep seeing different people making parodies of it that come eerily close to saying that, but no one actually seems to think that's what it means.

I think I like the theory cooked up at one of my other forums the best, where they suggested it was Kojima's attempt to translate the Metal Gear saga to the medium where it always truly belonged: The Spanish Telenovela.
