I just noticed that the first post of this thread isn't very explicit about what a haiku is. So I updated it (Hope that's ok Dan). Here's what I added:

A haiku is a poem composed of three lines, with 5, 7, and 5 syllables, respectively. For example:

Little cars shoot stuff
My screen looks like rainbow puke
Smash TV's more fun

Those who do not speak English as a first language (and those who just don't feel like counting) may find this tool useful.
